Custody and Record Routes
For current Dickinson County Correctional Center information, start with the official sheriff app or call the Correctional Center. The sheriff’s address is 300 East “D” Street, PO Box 609, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. The main line is 906-774-6262 and corrections is 906-774-6270. County offices list Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central. Use 911 for an emergency.
- For a booking record or photograph, use the county FOIA form and identify the person, date range, agency, and requested record.
- For a court case, contact the 95B District Court at 906-774-0506 or 41st Circuit Court at 906-774-2266 after checking MiCOURT.
- For an Iron Mountain, Kingsford, or Norway incident report, contact the arresting city agency as well as the county custodian.
- For state prison, parole, or probation records, use Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS rather than the county jail route.
- For a federal custody question, use the appropriate federal locator rather than treating county records as federal records.
